Our conference brought together passionate professionals, advocates, and experts committed to improving the safety and wellbeing of people and animals experiencing domestic and family violence (DFV). Over two days, we explored emerging and better practices, opportunities for cross-sector collaboration, and the urgent need for animal-inclusive responses.
With over 30 speakers, including politicians, researchers and practitioners and 120 participants, the conference provided a powerful platform for sharing knowledge and ideas for action. Discussions highlighted how the safety and wellbeing of people and animals is interconnected, the importance of integrated support, and the systemic changes needed to create safety for all.
